These terms apply to all orders placed with decor8it (Pty) Ltd (“decor8it”, “we”, “us”) through decor8it.co.za, in our Boskruin showroom, or by quote. By placing an order you agree to these terms, together with our Fit Promise and warranties and our Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are

2. Prices and payment
All prices are in South African Rand and include VAT. Online prices cover the product only. Delivery and installation are not included and are quoted separately after your order. Online orders are paid at checkout using the payment options shown, including EFT (direct bank transfer) with your order number as the reference. Quoted work is payable as set out in your quote. Prices may change without notice, but the price confirmed on your order or accepted quote is the price you pay.
3. Made-to-measure orders and measurements
Blinds are ordered by size band and manufactured to the exact width and drop you give us, width first and drop second, in millimetres. You are responsible for the accuracy of measurements you supply, which is why we ask you to confirm them at checkout. In Gauteng we will measure for you free of charge on request. Our Fit Promise applies when our own team has measured your windows: if a blind is too wide we re-trim it free of charge, and if it is too narrow we remake it. Self-measured orders are made exactly to the measurements you supply.
Production starts once payment is received and your measurements are confirmed. We may contact you to check details before production. Lead times are a guide and may vary with stock and supplier schedules.
4. Delivery, collection and installation
You can collect your order from our Boskruin showroom at no charge. In Gauteng we offer delivery and professional installation, and elsewhere in South Africa we deliver by courier. Delivery and installation are quoted separately after your order and are only scheduled once you have accepted that quote. Risk in the goods passes to you on collection or delivery. 5. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Made-to-measure products, printed artwork and custom framing are produced to your specifications, so they cannot be cancelled once production has started and cannot be returned unless faulty. Standard stocked items may be returned unused, in their original packaging, within 7 days of delivery, at your cost. If a product is faulty or not as ordered, contact us and we will repair, replace, remake or refund it in line with our warranties and the Consumer Protection Act. 6. Warranties
Blinds and shutters carry a minimum three-year warranty on materials and mechanisms. Framing carries a lifetime workmanship guarantee. Flooring carries the manufacturer warranty, plus a two-year installation warranty on Gauteng installs. Warranties cover manufacturing faults and workmanship under normal residential use and exclude wear and tear, accidental damage, incorrect cleaning and installation by third parties. 7. Artwork and printing
You confirm that you own, or have permission to reproduce, any artwork or photographs you send us for printing. Colours may vary slightly between screens and printed canvas. Sizes outside our standard range, and printing on paper, are quoted individually.
8. Liability
To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
